MACBAIN takes part in an official Ground Breaking Event for a new facility in Williston, North Dakota.

MACBAIN Properties Ltd., along with their client Sanjel USA, participated in an official Ground Breaking Event on Thursday, October 5, 2006, to kick-off the development of a new facility in Williston, North Dakota. Hosted by Williston’s Economic Development Department, the ceremony was attended by City Council delegates, Sanjel USA representatives, and MACBAIN’s Vice President and General Manager, John Milino, all of whom helped to officially kick-off the project. MACBAIN is constructing a 50,000 ft2 oilfield facility on 14 acres of industrial land for Sanjel USA, a leading oil and gas service company, and has targeted project completion for Spring 2007.

MACBAIN announces the purchase of 14 acres of industrial property in Williston, North Dakota.

MACBAIN proudly announced the purchase of 14 acres of industrial property in Williston, North Dakota. The acquired property will be the future site of a 25,000 sq. ft. oilfield service facility for Sanjel USA, a leading oilfield service provider of acidizing, cementing, coiled tubing, fracturing, and nitrogen services. Construction is scheduled to begin this summer 2006, with project completion targeted for Fall 2007.



MACBAIN acquires 15 acres of premium industrial land in Fort St. John, British Columbia.

MACBAIN announced the acquisition of 15 acres of premium industrial land in Fort St. John, British Columbia, with plans to develop a full service oilfield facility. The acquisition is one of several land purchase transactions MACBAIN has finalized in recent months, and will further strengthen the organization's position in the Western Canadian real estate market.



TD Waterhouse expands their leased space by 3,800 sq. ft. at Epcor Place in Calgary, Alberta.

Effective January 1, 2006, TD Waterhouse will expand their leased space by 3,800 sq. ft. at Epcor Place in Calgary, Alberta. The additional space will facilitate growing business operations at TD Waterhouse, and further solidify MACBAIN's credibility with major national tenants.

MACBAIN purchases 45 acres of industrial property to be used for four industrial development projects.

MACBAIN announced its purchase of 45 acres of industrial property across Western Canada, to be used for four industrial development projects. Land purchased in Fort Nelson, British Columbia and Red Deer, Lac La Biche, and Grande Prairie, Alberta will be the future sites of new oilfield service centers. Initial steps have been made toward developing industrial facilities for each property, with construction projects targeted to begin in spring 2006.

August 23, 2005

MACBAIN broke ground on a 133,000 sq. ft. industrial facility in Calgary's Eastlake subdivision on August 23, 2005. This large industrial development will be the future site of Sanjel Corporation's Professional Park, slated to be one of the largest technical oilfield facilities in Canada. The building will house Sanjel's Technical, Fabrication and Maintenance, and Training Centers, and is scheduled for completion by early summer 2006. The development of the Eastlake technical facility will become MACBAIN's signature industrial property and complement their existing portfolio.



Sanjel Corporation moves into Epcor Place as the major tenant of the downtown Calgary office building.
June 1, 2005

MACBAIN secured a major, long-term tenant for their Epcor Place office and retail property, located at 505 - 2nd Street SW in downtown Calgary. As of June 1, 2005, Sanjel Corporation, Canada's largest privately owned international oilfield service company, will occupy 60,000 sq. ft. across four floors of the eight story building, boosting building occupancy levels to 100%. All four floors have been completely re-designed and re-developed to maximize workspace and modernize layout.




Meyers Norris Penny signs ten year lease to occupy one of MACBAIN's prime office buildings in downtown Calgary.
June 1, 2005

Meyers Norris Penny, the only Top 10 chartered accounting firm based in the West, signed a ten year lease agreement becoming the major tenant of MACBAIN's 40,000 sq. ft. MNP Place. Meyers Norris Penny will occupy 80% of the building over four floors, featuring premium office workspace and a central, sunlit glass staircase.
